About the Conversation
A Community Conversation on Everyday Health is a prevention-focused gathering that explores how the choices we make every day shape long-term health outcomes in Black communities.
Featuring perspectives from community health, clinical care, and lived experience, the discussion will highlight the importance of early awareness, prevention, and self-advocacy. Panelists will explore why preventive care and routine screenings matter, as well as how individuals and communities can take practical steps to improve health and overall well-being.
This convening intentionally creates space for both Black men and women, recognizing that improving community health requires shared understanding, collective action, and a commitment to prevention across generations. By fostering open dialogue and accessible health education, the event aims to empower participants with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions that support healthier futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
