About the Conversation
A Community Conversation on Everyday Health is a prevention-forward gathering designed to move beyond diagnosis-centered health discussions and focus on how daily behaviors, stress, access, and environment shape long-term health outcomes in Black communities.
Rather than centering any single condition, this conversation explores everyday health as a public health practice—highlighting how habits around sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, and care-seeking compound over time. Cancer is woven into the dialogue as one of several downstream outcomes influenced by these patterns, alongside cardiovascular disease, autoimmune conditions, and chronic inflammation.
This convening intentionally creates space for both Black men and women, recognizing the importance of shared health literacy, prevention, and early engagement—together.
